Austria
Regional workshop for German speaking countries
The main focus of the Austrian PROLOGUE workshop was to inform different organisations and stakeholders on Naturalistic Driving and the ongoing project as well as to give the floor to speakers from organisations with different investigation interests (German-speaking regions).
KFV tried to provide a wide range of different views on ND and therefore, invited lecturers, whose organisations might become potential users of naturalistic data, in order to get some input on possibly new application areas. Finally, the goal was to draw some attention on ND and to raise interest in the planned large scale European ND study.
The workshop took place on 18 November 2010 in Vienna and a total of 42 persons attended. In the first part ND in general and the project PROLOGUE in particular was presented. The second part of the workshop should shed some light on different sights about ND.
