Regional workshop for Dutch speaking regions
The PROLOGUE regional workshop in the Netherlands introduced the Naturalistic Driving method and illustrated its potential benefits for road safety, for environmental issues and for traffic management applications to Dutch and Flemish stakeholders. The audience consisted of national and regional policy makers, representatives of the research and consulting community, the police, interest organizations, and various industries such as car industry, insurance and navigation systems.
The aim was to get a greater insight into the interests and knowledge gaps in those various areas, to make the audience become acquainted with the potential application areas of Naturalistic Driving.
The workshop took place on 23 November 2010 in Rotterdam (NL) and the programme included five presentations and two discussion sessions. A total of 44 people attended the workshop. The working language was Dutch.
